AWOL  Absent WithOut Leave

Admin  The administration of one’s life or work e.g. I just need to sort my admin out for this weekend.  The Royal Marines always follow the same routine post exercise or deployment; weapons, admin, self, referring to weapons are always cleaned and returned first, then all the kit is cleaned and sorted and finally ones personal admin is taken care of.
